CADDIEFLOW

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information CaddieFlow collects, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.

Effective September 6, 2026Terms of Servicesupport@caddieflow.com
We do not sell your personal information. We use your data to operate CaddieFlow, provide golf features, support your account, and deliver the sharing options you enable.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the CaddieFlow mobile app, website, connected wearable features, and related services. It does not apply to third-party websites, app stores, payment processors, identity providers, or device platforms that have their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account and authentication data, including email address, login credentials, Google sign-in identifiers, user ID, and session information needed to keep you signed in securely.
  • Profile and preference data, including display name, avatar, distance-unit setting, vibration preference, voice-feature preference, cloud-sync setting, public-profile setting, leaderboard preference, and recent-round sharing preference.
  • Club and bag data, including the clubs you enable and the distances you assign to them.
  • Round and scoring data, including course, tee box, round start and completion times, hole progress, score details, shot logs, club used, lie, penalties, notes, and related history.
  • Location data, including precise or approximate device location used for GPS yardages, course context, weather lookups, round tracking, and wearable experiences when you grant permission.
  • Swing analysis data, including metrics such as tempo, swing plane, rotation, weight shift, detected swing faults, and coaching tips.
  • Media data, including avatar images you upload. Swing videos you record or import are processed locally in the current analysis flow, while resulting swing-analysis metrics may be stored in our backend.
  • Community data if you enable public profile, leaderboard, or recent-round sharing, which may allow selected profile and golf-performance information to be shown to other users and on CaddieFlow properties.
  • Safety and moderation data, including reports you submit about another user, the report category and details, blocked-user relationships, review status, and actions taken in response.
  • Support communications you send us by email, including bug reports, feature requests, and account questions.
  • Diagnostics and crash data, which may include stack traces, device and operating-system details, app version, recent in-app navigation breadcrumbs, feature or subscription status, and a pseudonymous identifier derived from your account ID. Our current integration does not intentionally send your raw account ID, name, or email address to our crash-reporting provider.
  • Optional swing-performance diagnostics if you opt in during registration: the time required to complete a swing analysis, phone manufacturer and model, app version, analysis view, account user ID, and event time. We do not collect a device serial number, IMEI, advertising ID, swing video, image, or pose-landmark data for this purpose.
If you use optional watch voice features, your speech input may be processed through Android or Wear OS speech-recognition services provided by your device platform.

3. Permissions We May Request

You can control permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work properly if you deny them.

  • Location, for GPS distances, active-round tracking, course context, weather, and watch integration.
  • Camera, for swing recording, imported swing capture flows, and profile-avatar updates.
  • Microphone, for optional voice or recording-related features on supported devices.

4. How We Use Information

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to perform our contract with you, with your consent for optional processing, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as securing, supporting, and improving CaddieFlow when those interests are not overridden by your rights.

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Authenticate you and keep the service secure.
  • Provide GPS, scoring, club guidance, round history, analytics, handicap-related features, and swing analysis.
  • Sync your data across sessions and supported devices when cloud features are enabled.
  • Display public profile, leaderboard, and recent-round information if you choose to enable those features.
  • Support subscriptions, trials, entitlement checks, and billing status.
  • Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
  • Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and other technical failures.
  • When you opt in, compare swing-analysis processing times across phone models and app versions so we can improve speed and reliability.
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the service.

5. When We Share Information

  • With service providers that help operate the service, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Google services for sign-in, maps, and Play billing; Sentry for crash reporting and application diagnostics; Open-Meteo for weather data; and Stripe only when web card checkout is displayed and used.
  • Through public features you enable, such as public profile, leaderboards, and recent-round sharing.
  • For legal or safety reasons if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, CaddieFlow, or others.
  • In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Subscription purchases made in the Android app are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We may receive purchase status, product, entitlement, and subscription-expiration information needed to unlock premium features and verify billing state.

If web card checkout is displayed and available, Stripe processes the payment and may collect payment, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under its own privacy policy. CaddieFlow receives the customer, subscription, payment-status, and entitlement information needed to operate the subscription, but not your full card number.

No Apple app or Apple subscription is currently offered. If one is launched later, this policy will be updated before Apple billing is enabled.

7. Website Cookies and Local Storage

The website uses essential Supabase authentication cookies and related browser storage to keep you signed in, protect account sessions, and provide requested features. We do not currently use advertising cookies or non-essential behavioral analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain your account, support your golf history and analytics, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  • You can delete individual rounds and shots in the product.
  • You can sign out at any time, which clears local session state from the app.
  • Crash and diagnostic events sent to Sentry are currently retained for 30 days under our active Sentry plan.
  • Optional swing-performance diagnostic fields are retained in Supabase for up to 12 months, after which those fields are removed from the swing record.
  • Safety reports and related moderation records are retained as reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, prevent repeat misuse, document enforcement, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Some detailed shot-level information may be aggregated or deleted earlier as part of backend storage optimization while preserving broader analytics.
  • You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data at caddieflow.com/account-deletion, or contact support@caddieflow.com if you cannot sign in.

9. Your Choices

  • You can grant, deny, or revoke device permissions in your operating-system settings.
  • You can control whether your profile is public, whether you appear on leaderboards, and whether recent rounds are shared.
  • You can toggle cloud-sync related settings where available.
  • You can decline optional performance diagnostics during registration and change that choice later in the Android app's Privacy & Legal settings. You may also contact support@caddieflow.com.
  • You can report and block another user through available community safety controls.
  • You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Processing

CaddieFlow and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Data-protection laws in those locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

12. Children's Privacy

CaddieFlow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Regional Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. California residents may also have rights concerning categories of information collected or disclosed, non-discrimination, and sale or sharing. CaddieFlow does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise a privacy right, email support@caddieflow.com. We may need to verify your identity and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law allows them to do so.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, the website, or another reasonable channel. The effective date above reflects the date of the current version.
